Tonight, back by popular demand, we’re going to talk about food and cooking. The cooking show we did was very popular for some odd reason I can’t fathom. People like to hear about food. The foodies!
This is Andrew’s “White BBQ Sauce” recipe:
1 1/2 Cup(s) mayonaise
4 Tablespoon(s) cider vinegar
4 Teaspoon(s) sugar
5 Teaspoon(s) prepared horseradish
1 Teaspoon(s) kosher salt
1 Teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
1 Dash(s) (a little goes a long way) liquid smoke
1 Dash(s) chipotle tobasco sauce Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender, food processor, or mini-food processor and blend until smooth (about 1 minute).
The result should the the consistency of salad dressing. Let recipe sit and marinate for at least one hour prior to using the sauce. I like the sauce spicy and sweet, but you may wish to tweak the levels of horseradish vs sugar to your liking. It’s all about personal taste.
This is excellent on barbecued chicken. For that, brush the chicken with sauce before cooking (letting it sit for a few hours like that before cooking is nice), just after cooking, and after resting.
